Come on by for our first-come, first-served walkups from noon until 5pm. Or pre-order online for next day pickup & local delivery. Pickups are scheduled every 30 minutes between 1pm and 5pm. And all deliveries are dropped off in the afternoon between 1pm and 4pm.
How do your walkups work?
We always have a lovely selection of desserts available for our first-come, first-served walkups. From Wednesday to Sunday, we make extra pies, tarts, cakes, freshly baked cookies, buttertarts, scones and more! Our chalkboard menu, displayed just outside our front entrance, lists all of the take-away desserts available for the day. All of our desserts are packaged up and ready-to-go for quick service at the door.
How do I pre-order a dessert?
Schedule a pickup or local delivery on our online shop. All orders must be placed by 5pm the day before. If you have any questions or need recommendations, please contact us and we will happily guide you through the process.
To request that a dessert be set aside for same day pickup, please call or email us. Provide your name, telephone number and an approximate pickup time. We will reply as soon as we can to let you know if we can accommodate your request. Unfortunately, if we have long line-ups at the door, we will not able to set aside desserts.
How do your scheduled pickups work?
When you arrive at the bakeshop at your scheduled pickup time to collect your desserts, we will greet you at our front entrance and ask you for your order #. Your order # is emailed to you immediately after you place your order online.
If there is a line-up, please wait at the bottom of the steps, six feet away from other customers and wear a mask. To keep the line moving quickly, we will have your order all packaged up and ready-to-go for your scheduled pickup time. After we confirm your order # and name, we will place your desserts on the table outside our front doors.
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes, we offer local delivery! We deliver to all K1 & K2 postal codes in the Ottawa area. Enter your postal code before checkout to see if we deliver to your area.
Delivery fee is $15, minimum order $30. All deliveries are dropped off in the afternoon between 1pm and 4pm.
If you live outside our delivery area, please send us an email with your address and postal code to request a quote.
What is the best way to reach you during business hours?
For the time being, the best way to reach us during our business hours is to send us an email. We are very busy at the shop serving customers and getting orders ready, so at times we may not be able to get to the phone. However, we do check our phone messages often throughout the day and we will call you back as soon as we possibly can.

When do you update the desserts on your online shop?
Our online shop is updated Sunday evening. Quantities are refreshed and occasionally new seasonal desserts are added. If a dessert is sold out towards the end of the week, check back on Monday to place your order.
How far in advance should I place my order?
Our online shop takes orders up to two weeks in advance. If you would like to discuss a future order that is more than a few weeks away, please email us to see if we can accommodate your request.
Do you make custom desserts?
Our dessert menu changes with the seasons, but unfortunately we do not make custom cakes or custom decorated cookies at this time.
Can I cancel my order?
We need at least two days notice for cancellations. With two days notice, we will issue a credit that can be used towards a future order.
Can I redeem my online gift card at the bakeshop?
At this time, online gift cards can be used for purchases on our online shop only. To buy a physical gift card that can be used in-store, please email us.
Can I purchase an online gift card with a custom value?
For custom values not listed online, please email us.
What if I lose my gift card?
Physical gift cards unfortunately can't be replaced if they are lost, stolen or destroyed. However, if you purchased an online gift card, we can resend the gift card by email.
